"Good videos, but the extras could be a lot better"
I used BoardsBeyond mostly while studying for Step, and the videos were definitely useful here and there, but the extra materials were kind of a letdown because some of the PDFs felt rushed, didn’t always line up with what was being said in the videos, and then a few of the practice questions were either way too simple or written in a way that made me stop and wonder what they were even asking, which was frustrating for something that costs this much. It’s not a bad resource overall, but I expected the notes and supplemental stuff to be cleaner and better organized, so I ended up feeling a little disappointed.

"Not really worth the price"
I feel like this costs too much for what you actually get. It is not terrible, but I was expecting more for the money.

"Progress tracking keeps me on track"
I really like the way it shows what I’ve already finished and what I still need to do. It sounds like a small thing, but it makes studying feel way less all over the place. I’ll watch a few videos, get distracted, come back later, and I don’t have to sit there trying to remember where I left off. It just keeps everything a little more organized in my head, which is super helpful.
"Helpful, but something felt a little off for exam prep"
Boards and Beyond definitely helped me get the basics down, and some of the videos lined up well with what I saw in exam-style questions. But at the same time, something felt a bit off with certain topics. A few sections went deeper than I really needed, or explained things in a way that didn’t quite match how the questions ended up being asked. It was useful for understanding the material, just not always the fastest or most focused option when I was trying to prep efficiently. I still used it, but I had to pair it with other resources to feel more exam-ready.

"I canceled and somehow still got charged, which..."
I canceled and somehow still got charged, which was really frustrating. And then when I reached out to support, they weren’t exactly helpful either. Like, I thought canceling would be simple, but nope — had to go back and forth, check my account again, explain the charge, all of that. Just a messy experience overall...
"Helpful, but I’m not totally sold on the quality"
I’ve used Boards and Beyond for studying, and it definitely explains concepts in a clear way. That said, some of the videos feel a little dry, and I sometimes find it hard to stay focused. It’s a useful resource overall, but I do wonder if the quality could be more consistent, especially when it comes to keeping students engaged

"Felt like I was falling behind too much"
Boards Beyond definitely has solid information, but the lessons move way too fast for me. I kept having to pause and rewind just to make sure I wasn’t missing something important, which got frustrating after a while. I don’t want to risk losing out on key details, especially when I’m paying for a study resource, so this format just didn’t work great for me.

"Saved me a ton of time"
Boards & Beyond saved me so much time. The videos get straight to the point, so I could jump into the topics I was weak on without getting buried in giant notes. Weirdly, I remember watching one video while eating cold pizza at like 1 a.m., and it still made the concept stick. Definitely made studying feel way more manageable

"The difficulty felt really inconsistent"
I tried Boards & Beyond thinking it would meet me where I was, but the difficulty felt all over the place. I kept wondering if I had misunderstood what the course was supposed to offer, and I really didn’t want to feel like I’d been fooled into expecting something more complete.
Some videos were almost too basic, and then the questions would suddenly jump into details that hadn’t been explained well enough. That made studying feel more frustrating than helpful, because I was never sure if I was learning properly or just missing something hidden in between.
Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me the level just didn’t match. I ended up wasting extra time patching the gaps with other resources, which made me feel like I had to double-check everything instead of trusting the material

"Helpful lessons, but the site could be smoother"
The lessons are helpful and I’ve learned a decent amount, but using the site can be frustrating. Searching feels slow, and it’s not always easy to get back to where I left off. The layout could be cleaner too. For the price, I expected the whole experience to feel a bit smoother.

"I’ve noticed new stuff gets added..."
I’ve noticed new stuff gets added regularly, which is nice. It kind of reassures me that the app is still being worked on and not just left alone, so I feel better sticking with it

"Makes Complicated Stuff Way Easier to Understand"
I’ve found that having videos to explain tougher topics really makes a big difference. Sometimes reading through something complicated can feel a little overwhelming, but when it’s broken down visually and explained step by step, it just feels much easier to follow. It’s definitely helped me understand things that probably would have taken a lot longer to figure out on my own.

"Helpful for the Basics, but Not Always Enough"
I used BoardsBeyond for a lot of my med school studying, it did help me get a better handle on the basics. The videos cover a ton of topics and are easy to follow, especially when I just needed a clear starting point. But this is where it got annoying: some of the videos felt way too short, and I’d finish them still feeling like I needed more examples or a deeper explanation. I ended up having to use other resources often to fill in the gaps. So overall, I’d say it’s useful, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my only study source

"Really helpful, but can be a lot sometimes!!!"
I’ve been using Boards & Beyond for med school stuff, and it’s been really solid!!! Dr. Ryan does a good job explaining the “why” behind things instead of just throwing random facts at you, which makes it way easier for the material to actually stick!!!
That said, some of the videos can feel heavy if you’re already tired or burned out!!! I definitely still use question banks afterward, but overall it makes tough topics feel way less intimidating and I’d say it’s worth the subscription!!!

"I ran into an issue with my…"
I ran into an issue with my account and reached out to support, but the wait was frustrating. I kept checking my email over and over and there was just nothing for way too long. When they finally did get back to me, the reply felt rushed and didn’t really solve the problem. Maybe the service itself is okay, but when I’m paying for something, I expect support to be a lot more responsive than this. It left a bad impression.

The teachers explains things really well, and it makes the lessons feel a lot less stressful. I actually felt like I could keep up and understand the material without getting lost.

"Good videos, order’s a bit messy"
Videos are helpful overall, and I did learn a lot. Just felt like the curriculum order was confusing in a few spots. Had to jump around more than I expected to make things connect

"Helped Me Catch Weak Spots Before They Cost Me"
The questions were actually really helpful because they showed me exactly where I was shaky. I’d rather find those weak spots now than lose points later on something I thought I understood. It made studying feel a lot more focused and less like I was just guessing what to review

"I’ve been using this alongside Anki and..."
I’ve been using this alongside Anki and First Aid, and overall it fits really nicely into my routine. It’s easy to use and doesn’t feel like it clashes with my other resources. The only thing I noticed is that it took me a little time to figure out the best way to organize everything together, did anyone else have the same issue?

"Pretty helpful, though not perfect"
Overall I thought it was really good, actually, I’d say mostly good, but a few of the videos had explanations that felt a bit outdated. Still useful, just not completely up to date in every spot.
